When your computer is new, not much information is contained in the registry. Over even a short period, the registry quickly becomes a cluttered mess. This clutter slows your computer down, and sometimes it causes system crashes. Many things can cause problems in the registry. We have identified over 60,000 common errors and XP Repair Pro searches for these in your registry, and other parts of your system. Read this topic for more information.

Every installation includes an up-to-date database of errors. When you scan your system, XP Repair Pro is scanning through your registry for errors that are in the database. During the Deep Analysis scan, the scanner is also locating errors in the registry that point to invalid file and registry references. When you go to repair these errors, the program doesn't delete them, but it quarantines them onto your hard drive. This will prevent them from causing any problems, and reducing system performance, but will keep them safe in case you want to undo some.
- How can I undo changes made during a repair?
If you want to undo the changes that are made during the system repair, you have two options. The easiest option is the System Backup option.
